We’re continually investing in our Ayrshire workshop to improve the campervans and furniture we manufacture. Our latest investment — a professional edge banding machine — has allowed us to completely rethink the finish and design of our campervan furniture.

Edge banding applies a precisely finished edge to our furniture panels, creating a smooth, seamless appearance around doors, cupboards, drawers and cabinetry.
For our customers, the difference is immediately noticeable.
Our latest furniture has cleaner lines, beautifully finished edges and a much more refined, contemporary appearance. It also gives our designers greater freedom to introduce softer shapes and rounded detailing, moving away from the more traditional look often associated with campervan furniture.
The result is an interior that feels less like conventional campervan cabinetry and more like high-end fitted furniture designed specifically for the vehicle.

Furniture manufacturing has always been an important part of what we do at Route 300 Campers.
Rather than relying on generic, mass-produced furniture kits, we design and manufacture our campervan cabinetry at our own workshop in Irvine, North Ayrshire.
Our furniture is precision cut using CNC technology, and the addition of our new edge banding equipment means we can now improve upon another important part of the manufacturing process.
From the initial layout and CNC machining through to edging, assembly and installation, we can oversee the quality and finish at every stage.
